The Alex E. Paris Contracting Company Inc. story is an uniquely American story of success. Alex Paris an Italian immigrant founded the company on hard work, determination and a never quit attitude. The company began working on WPA projects doing primarily road construction. AEP soon ventured into the coal and mining industry. A large coal mining operation was established and flourished during the 193's to the early 195's. Alex Paris Sr. was succeeded by his son Emanuel in the late 195's. He guided the company from the mining industry to the underground utility business. During the late 196's and early 197's, AEP's business model changed to include the industrial services business and then later also included heavy construction. In today's ever expanding energy services industry, we provide site development, foundations, buildings, undergrounds, process piping, installation and construction management.
